About Veronica Diaz

Owner of The Plan Agency

Experience You Can Trust. Guidance You Can Understand.

Veronica Diaz is the founder of The PLAN Agency, where she helps individuals and families take one of the most important steps they can make for the people they love: putting a clear plan in place for the future.

With more than 20 years of experience spanning estate planning, financial services, banking, and the funeral and cemetery profession, Veronica brings a unique perspective to legacy planning. She understands that creating a living trust is about much more than preparing documents—it is about protecting your family, preserving what you have worked hard to build, and making difficult moments easier for the people you leave behind.

A graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Political Science and Pre-Law, Veronica has worked as a paralegal since 1999 and is a California Registered Legal Document Assistant. She is registered, bonded, and insured and has helped hundreds of families prepare comprehensive estate planning documents.

Before founding The PLAN Agency, Veronica spent more than two decades building a career centered around families, financial protection, leadership, and service. Her experience includes senior leadership in banking as well as extensive work within the funeral, cemetery, and preneed profession. That background has given her firsthand insight into what families experience when someone passes away without proper planning—and how much of that stress can be prevented.

Why I Started The PLAN Agency

For Veronica, estate planning is personal.

As a mother of two daughters, she understands the importance of knowing that the people you love will be protected and that your wishes will be clearly documented. She created The PLAN Agency to make estate planning feel less intimidating, more understandable, and more accessible to everyday families.

Her approach is simple: listen first, educate without overwhelming, and help clients put their wishes in writing with care and attention to detail.

Whether you are a homeowner creating your first living trust, updating an existing estate plan, navigating a blended family, or simply realizing it is finally time to get your affairs in order, Veronica believes you deserve to understand the process and feel confident about the decisions you are making.

Planning Today. Protecting Tomorrow.

The PLAN Agency serves families throughout Southern California with comprehensive estate planning document preparation, including revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, deeds and property transfers, and related estate planning documents.

Because peace of mind doesn't come from simply having documents in a binder. It comes from knowing you have a P.L.A.N.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about Living Trusts and working with The Plan Agency.

What is a Living Trust?

A Living Trust is a legal document that allows you to place your assets into a trust during your lifetime. It can help simplify the management and transfer of your assets while helping eligible assets avoid the probate process. A Living Trust is commonly used as part of an organized estate planning strategy.

Why should I create a Living Trust?

A Living Trust can help you organize your assets, maintain greater control over how they are managed, and support a smoother transfer process in the future. Many individuals and families choose a Living Trust to help protect their assets from probate while creating a clear plan for the future.

How does a Living Trust help with probate?

Assets that are properly transferred into a Living Trust may avoid the probate process, which can save time and reduce unnecessary administrative procedures. Every situation is unique, so it's important to ensure your trust is properly prepared and funded.

What information do I need to get started?

Getting started is simple. We'll ask for basic information about you, your beneficiaries, your trustee(s), and the assets you would like to include in your Living Trust. We'll guide you through the document preparation process every step of the way.

How long does the process take?

The timeline varies depending on your individual circumstances and how quickly the required information is provided. Our goal is to make the process as efficient, organized, and straightforward as possible while ensuring your documents are prepared accurately.

Can I update my Living Trust later?

Yes. As your life changes, your Living Trust may need updates to reflect new circumstances, assets, or personal preferences. If changes are needed, we can assist with preparing updated documents at your specific direction.

Is The Plan Agency a law firm?

No. The Plan Agency is not a law firm. We are a California Registered Legal Document Assistant (LDA) service authorized to prepare legal documents at your specific direction. We do not provide legal advice, represent clients in court, or determine your legal rights or remedies.
